Accessibility
As with many buildings that grew and expanded over many decades, our large and inviting facility wasn’t as accessible as we wished. But through the addition of a few careful improvements, our 60-year-old building is now open to all, no matter what level of mobility they possess.
Ramps were installed so that no one would face the challenge of moving from parking lot to Sanctuary to Fellowship Hall and back again. A chair lift opened all three levels of the Education Wing to everyone. A private unisex bathroom was added. And large automatic entry systems now open the exterior doors at the touch of a button.
Thanks to these improvements, our building is now as welcoming as our congregation has always been.
