Younger Children (ages 3-5)
Classes for our youngest children meet during the 11:00 am Sunday worship service.
Little Explorer’s Class for 3s and 4s
The Little Explorer’s Class helps our children know and experience God’s love. They can begin to explore their initial stirrings of faith in a warm and nurturing space. Their classroom is divided into areas for storytelling, worship, and play. Each week the children hear an age-appropriate Bible story, and then respond to that story using art, drama, or movement activities. We follow a curriculum that provides Christian education and values such as sharing, respecting others and fair play.
Children in Worship for Kindergartens and Older 4s
In Children in Worship, the children are guided through a short worship service and encouraged to respond to Bible stories through songs, art, questions and retelling of the stories. Each story has an activity response to help the children better understand the story.
Both curriculums run on a two-year cycle so that children can stay in either class for 2 years without repeating a lesson.
