Youth Mission Trips
A highlight of Forest Hill’s youth program is the yearly mission trip experience. Each group, the Mid-Highs (rising 5-8 grades) and the Senior Highs (rising 9-12 grades), go on a mission trip designed to help them grow in their faith and discover God’s purpose for them in the larger community.
Past Senior High trips have been to Nicaragua, Mississippi, Mexico, Gettysburg, South Dakota, and Inward Bound here in Cleveland. The Mid-Highs have spent time at Faith Ranch in southern Ohio, Canada, and helping with Habitat for Humanity in Cleveland.
For 2010, our Sr. High teens are attending the 2010 Presbyterian Youth Triennium in Indiana the week of July 18-24. Our Mid-High kids are participating in The Pittsburgh Project’s Summer Service Camp that same week.
