Big Give THUNDER RUN 5K Run & Relay
Saturday, July 18: The Big Give continues! Members James Roosa and Jed Koop have organized the inaugural Forest Hill Thunder Run 5K Race & Relay. Register on-line at www.thunderrun.org (sign in as a Guest) and forward the link to all of your friends, co-workers and fellow runners.
Runners may also register on the day of the race at 8:00 a.m.. The fees for registrations the day of the race are $15 for individual runners and $30 for relay teams. (Pre-race registration is only $12 for individuals and $24 for teams.) All proceeds will be divided among the Forest Hill Church Big Give and the Heights Emergency Food Center.
The race proceeds will benefit The Big Give and the Heights Emergency Food Center. The race course spans both the Cleveland Heights and East Cleveland sides of this beautiful and historic park. Huron Hospital and several local businesses have signed on as sponsors.
The runners will start and finish from behind the Forest Hill Park baseball diamonds. Relay team runners will start at 9:00 a.m. with individual runners starting at 9:10 a.m.. Awards will be given for individual Age Group winners, Relay teams and Best Costume* (costumes are NOT required!) along with free T-Shirts for first 100 entrants.
