2010 InterAct Cleveland's Homeless Stand Down ~ Sun. Feb. 28
Assist Cleveland’s homeless men and women at the InterAct Cleveland Homeless Stand Down on Sun. Feb. 28 . For details go to: www.interactcleveland.org. or see the FHC’s Justice & MIssion bulletin board. The Stand Down provides several days of respite, renewal, and reconnection for over 2,000 guests facing challenges of poverty and homelessness. Participants, predominantly men, may be living with friends or relatives, in shelters, or on the street. InterAct distributes warm clothing and personal care kits, serves hot lunches, and arranges haircuts and medical check-ups for participants at three sites in Downtown Cleveland.
All volunteers need to sign up for a Volunteer Training . At the training we will separate volunteers into Returning and New Volunteers for a streamlined customized training.
