Sale prices for Blueberry, Cherry, Pear-Spice, Peach, Plum, Raspberry, Strawberry, Tropical Fruit jams; Apple Butter (small only); Apricot-Ginger Spread; & Grape Jelly: Prices: $3 – Small 8 oz. jar, $6 – Large 16 oz. jar, $25 – Medium USPS Priority Mail box full of 6 Large, 10 Small, or mix-n-match sizes). A Camp Lilac volunteer will deliver your jams or Ann can mail them at USPS rates.  All are low-sugar (but do have some), except for the apple butter, which has only apples and spices.

Join the Talk about Reparations: a 5-part series ~ Sat Mar 27

Are reparations part of the solution to the seemingly intractable question of racial inequality? On Sat Mar 27, the Black Caucus will begin a 5-part series of ZOOM discussions on this prickly question. All are invited and encouraged to attend. The 1st meeting will focus on the Declaration of Independence & U.S. Constitution; the slave economy and its impact, and the abolitionist movement, particularly the role of Black abolitionists. This first installment concludes at the eve of the Civil War, setting the stage for our Apr 10 discussion on the Civil War and Reconstruction.

Spring 2021 Adult Ed Offerings

Two new Adult Ed offerings are coming up. The 1st, from Mar 14-28, will focus on the parables about plants and growth in the Book of Luke, and will be led by Pat Jenkins & Ann Williams. The 2nd, from Apr 11-May 23, will explore ways to pray focused on the Lord’s Prayer. Two groups will be offered: one led by Katherine Eloff & Tom Zych, the other by Ron Zimmerman.
