Lenten and Easter Activities Ahead at Forest Hill

On Thursday, April 9, gather with us for our Maundy Thursday Tenebrae service at 7:30 p.m.  On Good Friday, April 10, Pastors Clover and John will lead a noon time service. And on Easter Sunday, April 12, we will celebrate Christ’s Resurrection at 9:00 & 11:00 a.m.

Lent is a season of inward reflection, prayer and sacrifice. A time to prepare ourselves for Easter and the power of the resurrection. Coming in the “bleak mid-winter,” this is a season of lying fallow as the soil prepares itself for springtime. Likewise, it is a time for us to draw in a bit and begin to prepare for new spiritual growth.
