Reconnecting with God’s Creation is a Small Plate offering by the Education and Spiritual Formation Ministry that will meet Sundays from 4 – 6pm, Mar. 15 to June 7.* If you are interested in readings, mixed media presentations, small group discussion, and field trips that will help you more clearly understand the deep connections between humans and nature, contact Kemp Jaycox or Steve Sedam and explore our responsibility as Christians to care for the natural world. Classes will focus around 4 themes: preservation and protection, stewardship, wonder and magic, and restoration. Environmental justice and climate change will be emphasized throughout the course. A $10 free will donation will offset the cost of class materials and facility rental fee. Sign up soon as the course is limited to 12 people.
*Excluding Easter on April 12, Mother’s Day on May 10, and Memorial Day on May 24.
