Dear Friends,
I know you joined me in being devastated by the news of the shooting in Nashville.
We are a sick nation that cannot get our imaginations around common sense gun control. Do not give up on faith, hope and love, even in this time of stunned sadness.
As we move in this season towards the story of Christ’s passion and death, feel the pain and lament. But we do not forget the triumph of Easter. God is waiting on us to be a resurrection, people.
I am grateful that we will be hosting a gun buyback in our parking lot after Easter. We have our voices, actions and our votes. Use them faithfully.
